Ehh, I never post on tumblr anymore, but yay, i’m excited!

I got a job back in Richmond.. so that means I’ll be closer to fam & friends!  The job is more in the laboratory as opposed to the manufacturing aspect.. so that means better hours!  No more night shift and unexpected nonsense where I can’t have a life.  I even got a job higher than I applied for.  I’ll hopefully be able to come home and see my family for the holidays!  The whole time I worked at HGS, the only holiday I was home for was New Year and President’s Day (if you count that a holiday).

Anyway, I feel truly blessed!  Had my last night of work today and I am really going to miss my co-workers. :(  However, I’ll see them tomorrow when we go out bowling.  Tonight I’ll be going out with some friends from around the DMV. :)

I leave for Richmond on Saturday and I get my apartment in the Museum District on November 5th!  I’m actually pretty excited about that.

Well this is a whole bunch of nonsense, but yay! :)

I know it’s early in the morning, but it’s actually the end of my “day” since I work the night shift.. so, this is what I had:

- honey bunches of oats cereal w/ vanilla soy milk

- an omelette with feta cheese, onions, garlic, and chunks of spam

- plantain chips

- a cup of blueberries (anti-oxidants!)

- the rest of my omelette with whole wheat bread

- siopao

I’m not that cool.  I have nothing on my ipod, except for maybe Christina Aguilera’s first album and other songs of that era, so I rely on the radio a lot for my tunes… so yes, I do listen to mainstream music.  

However, I’m not limited to it!  I like all music.  Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of “Florence and the Machine,” which is not entirely mainstream.  I love the song “Howl.”  I also LOVE a lot of old school songs.  I’ve made a grooveshark playlist including a real big mix of INOJ, Stevie Wonder, Roxette, Neyo, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, BEYONCE, Usher, Adele, etc.  I’m also a big fan of classical, baroque (big piano/violin geek growing up), and Latin music.

However, one mainstream song I absolutely HATE and never liked.. even before it got “played out” is The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars!  Please get OFF the radio.  Thanks! :)
